Mission Statement

The mission of The Gap Foundation is to fund and manage projects that improve and nurture the lives of children and youth living in conditions of need, hardship and distress. It is our desire to "stand in the gap" for disadvantaged children and youth in Asia and the rest of the world - the gap in basic provisions, opportunities and privileges that prevent children and youth from living full lives.

Our Goals

The Gap Foundation's goals are to:

1) Alleviate the suffering and hardship that disadvantaged children and youth experience, 

2) Help children and youth realise their human potential, 

3) Enable children and youth to contribute and participate in society, 

4) Give children and youth hope and confidence in their future.
